Role Overview
We are looking for a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our team at Clicks Mthatha Plaza. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and managing daily dispensary administration according to our standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and professional care to all patients.
- Ensure efficient dispensary administration and stock control, including the repacking of medicine.
- Perform accurate compounding of medications.
- Provide general health and product advice to customers.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display in the pharmacy.
- Assist with ad hoc operational tasks as required.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
- Registration as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products and health aisles.
- Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business operating systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain high ethical standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
