Field Workers: KZN Ward 7 By-Election (Nongoma)
The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is an independent organization established by the Constitution to manage national, provincial, and municipal elections. We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to join our team for the upcoming by-election in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal.
Role Overview
This is a contract position focused on strengthening electoral democracy. Field workers will assist in coordinating voter registration and supporting various IEC programs at the voting station level.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of voter registration and related Commission activities.
- Help manage and implement electoral programs at assigned voting stations.
- Contribute to the efficiency and integrity of the democratic process.

Remuneration
Successful candidates will be paid a daily rate of R 370.00. This rate is subject to standard statutory deductions and applies only to days spent on training or official engagement.
