Job Opportunity: Field Workers (Balloting Education)
The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Field Workers for the upcoming KZN 265 Ward 20 By-Election in Nongoma. The IEC is an independent organization established by the Constitution to manage elections for the National Assembly, provincial legislatures, and municipal councils.
Role Overview
As a Field Worker, you will help strengthen democracy by assisting with voter registration and other electoral programs. You will work directly at voting stations to ensure the registration process runs smoothly and help coordinate various commission activities.
Job Details
- Location: Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal
- Job Type: Contract
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
- Remuneration: R 370.00 per day (Subject to statutory deductions for training and working days)

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating voter registration at the voting station level.
- Support programs that strengthen electoral democracy.
- Participate in training and engage in field activities as required by the Commission.
