Role Overview

We are looking for a professional and dedicated Pharmacist Assistant to join our team in Kuruman, Northern Cape. In this role, you will provide essential pharmaceutical care and handle daily dispensary administration. You will ensure all tasks are performed according to the company’s standard operating procedures to maintain the highest level of safety and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of customer service and patient care.
  • Manage stock efficiently, including medicine repacking and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure accurate dispensary administration and medicine compounding.
  • Provide general health advice to customers.
  • Maintain excellent standards for store housekeeping and merchandise displays.
  • Support the team with additional operational requirements as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric certificate with Mathematics (Essential).
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) at the appropriate level (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of health products and Over-the-Counter (OTC) medicine.
  • Familiarity with SAPC regulations and pharmacy laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and IT business operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong ethical standards and the ability to work well in a team.
