Job Vacancy: Assistant Project Coordinator
The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is an independent organization established by the Constitution to manage national, provincial, and municipal elections. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Ethekwini (West).
Role Purpose
In this role, you will help strengthen democracy by supporting the coordination of IEC projects and programs at the municipal level. Your work will be essential in preparing for the upcoming 2026 Local Government Elections.

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- A background or interest in Project Management.
- A commitment to supporting fair and transparent election processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and managing municipal-level projects.
- Support the implementation of programs related to the 2026 Local Government Elections.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Electoral Commission’s local operations.
