Role Purpose

We are looking for a qualified Artisan Electrical to perform planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance. Your goal will be to ensure all electrical equipment is in excellent working order, meeting both our business standards and our client’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report for on-site maintenance and accurately complete job cards.
  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance on electrical installations and minor building works.
  • Liaise with the control center regarding maintenance tasks and alarm testing.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with safety legislation, service level agreements, and job plans.
  • Identify potential hazards or equipment problems and provide solutions.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and to a high quality.
  • Provide regular updates to supervisors and clients on the status of operations.

Requirements

  • N3 – N6 in Electrical Engineering with a completed Trade Test.
  • Matric (Senior Certificate).
  • Valid South African Driver’s License and a Wireman’s License.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Practical experience working with PLCs and air breakers.
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong understanding of the OHS Act.
