Internship Opportunity: Customer Care Agent

Role Overview

We are looking for motivated interns to join our team as Customer Care Agents. In this role, you will learn to provide high-quality service, resolve customer inquiries during the first point of contact, and ensure a professional experience for every member of the public.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) plus a Diploma or NQF Level 6 qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or Business Administration.
  • No previous work experience is required.
  • Note: Only residents of the City of Johannesburg will be considered for this position.

What You Will Learn

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in the following areas:

  • Providing accurate information regarding City services and products.
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and requests.
  • Resolving customer queries and managing complaints according to official procedures.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to improve loyalty and communication, specifically regarding Rea Vaya services.
  • Engaging with stakeholders professionally and following internal policies.
  • Preparing accurate and timely reports on customer service activities.
