The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is responsible for providing public healthcare to the people of the Western Cape province. We are currently seeking a professional and dedicated Assistant Manager for Pharmaceutical Services.

Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: A basic pharmacy degree accredited by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Professional Registration: Current registration with the SAPC as a Pharmacist.
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience as a Pharmacist after your registration with the SAPC.
- License: A valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
Key Job Requirements
The successful candidate must be willing and able to:
- Perform regular after-hours duties, including 24-hour standby, weekends, and public holidays.
- Register as the Responsible Pharmacist for Worcester Regional Hospital.
- Travel within the Rural Central Ecosystem to support clinical governance and service delivery.
Skills and Competencies
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Leadership: Strong management, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with legislation and policies related to pharmacy practice.
- Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
