Role Introduction
We are looking for a dedicated Wellness Assistant to join our team at the Clicks The Quarry branch. In this role, you will provide expert advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements. Your goal is to offer exceptional service, build customer loyalty, and help customers make informed decisions about their health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive and friendly customer service by identifying and meeting customer needs.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on healthcare, nutritional products, and supplements.
- Drive sales by promoting a wide range of brands and suggesting relevant products to customers.
- Manage stock levels in the healthcare aisles to ensure products are always available.
- Ensure stock is rotated correctly to prevent wastage and manage risk to prevent stock loss.
- Maintain high standards of store hygiene and cleanliness to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Assist with product merchandising according to company guidelines.
- Follow all store standard operating procedures and stay updated on product knowledge.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric certificate with at least 50% in English and a pass in Life Science or Physics.
- Experience: At least 1 year of related experience, specifically working with sports nutrition and vitamin products.
- Knowledge: A basic understanding of retail operations, including stock management and merchandising.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a focus on customer service, and proven selling skills. Basic computer literacy is preferred.
- Desirable: A qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition is a plus.
