Deputy Director: People Management (Compliance and Training)

The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is responsible for providing public healthcare services to the residents of the Western Cape province. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Deputy Director for People Management, focusing on Compliance and Training.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: A National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related People Management field.
- Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in middle management (supervisory level).
- 6 to 10 years of extensive experience in human resources administration and practices within the public sector.
- Experience in audit and compliance environments is highly preferred.
- License: A valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
- Systems: Proficiency and training in PERSAL.

- Labor laws, including the Labour Relations Act and Employment Equity Act.
- Privacy and information acts, such as POPIA and PAIA.
