The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is responsible for providing public healthcare services to the population of the Western Cape province. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Nursing Assistants specializing in Trauma.
Job Overview

Requirements
- A Matric certificate or equivalent.
- An appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
- Current, valid registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
Experience Requirements
- Grade 1: No previous experience required after registration.
- Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of recognizable experience in nursing after registering with the SANC.
- Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of recognizable experience in nursing after registering with the SANC.
General Job Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work shifts, including day duty, night duty, and overtime.
- Willingness to rotate between different wards within the facility.
- Flexibility to work at various clinics within the Sub-district if required.
