About the Role

The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is looking for qualified Nursing Assistants to join our team. We provide essential public healthcare services to the people of the Western Cape and are looking for dedicated individuals to help us maintain high standards of patient care.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Matric certificate and a qualification that allows for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
• Registration: You must have current, valid registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.

Experience Levels

Applicants will be placed into grades based on their professional experience after SANC registration:

• Grade 1: No previous experience required.
• Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of recognized nursing experience.
• Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of recognized nursing experience.

Working Conditions

• You must be willing to work shifts, including day and night duty, weekends, and public holidays.
• You must be flexible and ready to assist in different hospital departments as needed.
