The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is responsible for providing public healthcare to the people of the Western Cape province. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Nursing Assistants.

Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Matric certificate and a qualification that allows you to register as a Nursing Assistant.
- Professional Registration: Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
- Driver’s License: A valid Code EB/C driver’s license.
Experience Levels
Positions are available across three grades based on your professional experience after registering with the SANC:
- Grade 1: No previous experience required.
- Grade 2: At least 10 years of appropriate experience in nursing.
- Grade 3: At least 20 years of appropriate experience in nursing.
Key Skills and Expectations
We are looking for candidates who are motivated and disciplined. You should have:
- Excellent communication skills.
- A willingness to work extended hours and after-hours shifts when needed.
- The flexibility to travel for outreach projects or rotate between different clinics within the sub-district.
