Job Opportunity: Forklift Driver (Paarl)
Ntice Sourcing Solutions is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join a fast-paced packaging team in Paarl. This is a full-time position for someone who is detail-oriented and experienced in warehouse environments.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently. You will ensure that all materials are moved correctly while following company safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with packaging materials.
- Perform daily safety checks on the forklift and report any maintenance needs.
- Keep accurate records of inventory and material movements.
- Follow all safety regulations and quality standards (including HACCP).
- Help with general warehouse tasks when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Identify ways to reduce waste and improve workplace efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience operating a forklift, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- License: Must hold a valid forklift operator’s license.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical work and lift heavy items.
- Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination and basic numerical skills.
- Traits: High level of safety awareness, self-motivated, and a team player.
