Role Description
We are seeking a professional engineer to focus on Risk and Reliability. In this role, you will ensure that our plant operations are efficient, reliable, and continuously improving. You will be responsible for solving technical problems, managing projects, and providing expert advice to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain the performance of assigned plant equipment.
- Identify technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Oversee plant modifications and manage engineering projects from start to finish.
- Offer technical support and guidance to colleagues.
Requirements
- Education: A B.Sc. or B.Eng. degree in Engineering (NQF level 8).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience or completion of a 2-year graduate training program.
- Registration: Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Candidate Engineer.
Skills and Competencies
Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with national and international engineering standards.
- Understanding of root cause analysis and research methods.
