About the Position

The City of Tshwane is looking for a professional Administrative Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for providing essential administrative support and managing services related to outdoor advertising and general office operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
  • At least six months of relevant experience working in an outdoor advertising environment.
  • Proficiency in computer use and standard office software.
  • Candidates must undergo a criminal record check, which includes fingerprinting by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at their own cost.

Primary Job Functions

As an Administrative Officer, your duties will include:

  • Managing general office administration, including typing and document preparation.
  • Providing professional reception services and handling telephone inquiries.
  • Assisting with the arrangement and coordination of meetings.
  • Overseeing daily office management tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assisting with the regulation of outdoor advertising and managing contraventions.
  • Registering estate agents and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
  • Sharing relevant outdoor advertising information with industry stakeholders.
  • Helping clients understand sign classifications and assisting with the application process.
