We are currently looking for a dedicated Admin Officer to join our team in Westridge, KwaZulu-Natal.

Job Overview

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A completed Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of administrative experience within a medical or laboratory environment.
• Work History: 1 to 3 years of general work experience.
• Availability: Ability to work specific day and night shifts as required.

Key Skills

• Languages: Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Computer Skills: Good computer literacy and basic typing skills.
• Mathematics: Ability to perform basic numerical calculations.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with teams and clients.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the laboratory by ensuring all administrative and processing tasks are handled accurately. Your main duties include:

• Processing and delivering lab specimens accurately and on time.
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards within the laboratory.
• Operating and maintaining automated laboratory systems.
• Handling helpdesk queries and providing excellent customer service.
• Managing filing systems and the correct disposal of specimens.
• Supporting the team to ensure reliable diagnostic services for patients.
