Key Responsibilities
As a Mining Engineering Intern, you will support various research projects through the following activities:
- Review local and international research related to mining engineering.
- Conduct time and motion studies on mining technologies at various mine sites.
- Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) regarding mining site technologies.
- Write detailed reports on research processes and results.
- Present research findings to the team when required.
- Handle administrative tasks, including filing and taking minutes, to support project leads.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining.
- A postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
- Experience or exposure to mechanized or metalliferous mining environments is a plus.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work well in a team and handle pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
- A valid driver’s license is an advantage.

- A clear criminal record is required.
