Nyandeni Local Municipality is located in the Eastern Cape province within the OR Tambo District Municipality. Our administrative center is based in Libode. We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caretaker.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Basic computer literacy.
- A Waste Management Certification will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Staff Supervision: Creating work schedules, assigning duties to personnel, and monitoring performance to ensure standards are met.
- Facility Monitoring: Overseeing activities within the facility and its surroundings to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Reporting: Providing regular written reports to management regarding the condition of the facility and operational deviations.
- Compliance and Audits: Participating in compliance audits and responding to inquiries from recyclers and other stakeholders.
- Operations Management: Sharing daily information regarding waste processing and recovery operations with supervisors.
- Maintenance: Identifying and reporting maintenance needs to ensure cost-effective facility management.
