Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Preferred Education: A Diploma in Project Management, Environmental Management, Business Management, or Public Management is highly advantageous.
- Experience: At least five years of supervisory experience within Waste Management, Project Management, or Environmental Management.
- Licensing: A valid driver’s licence is required.
- Key Skills: Proven experience in Financial and Asset Management.
- Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, contract management, and heavy plant equipment is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computers and strong presentation skills are an advantage.
Responsibilities
The Senior Superintendent will oversee key operational areas, ensuring projects are managed efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations. You will handle personnel management, monitor vehicle and equipment usage, and ensure financial processes are followed correctly.
