Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of a BTech degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional registration with ECSA as an Engineering Technologist or Engineer.
- At least eight years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of strategy and policy development.
- Proven skills in financial management, budgeting, and control.
- A solid understanding of local government legislation and policies.
- Experience within the Water and Sanitation industry (previous municipal experience is an advantage).
- A valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage regional operations with a focus on technical excellence and legislative compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing budgets, developing strategies to improve service delivery, and ensuring that water and sanitation services meet the needs of the community.
