About the Role

Toys R Us and Babies R Us South Africa is looking for a dedicated Admin Team Leader to join our Gateway store. You will be responsible for managing all administrative functions to ensure the store operates smoothly and remains compliant with company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Handle daily banking, cash-ups, and reconciliations. Ensure all incoming cash is recorded accurately against sales records and prepared for bank deposits.
• Stock Control: Oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods. Coordinate weekly stock counts and manage the preparation and administration of full stocktakes.
• Reporting: Provide daily reports to the Store Manager regarding discrepancies, shortages, price overrides, and refunds. Ensure all documentation is scanned and sent to the head office on time.
• Operational Support: Assist with staff scheduling, manage stationery orders, and ensure price changes are updated electronically and manually.
• Asset Protection: Help minimize expenses and protect company assets within your area of responsibility.
• Office Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.

Requirements

• A valid Matric Certificate.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience within a retail environment.
• Reliable transport to accommodate shift work.
• Strong computer literacy.
