Job Opportunity: Flexi Store Assistant – Eastgate Mall

We are currently looking for a professional and energetic Flexi Store Assistant to join our team at the Eastgate Mall branch in Bedfordview.
Role Overview
In this role, you will help provide an outstanding shopping experience. You will support sales, assist customers, and ensure the store runs smoothly by managing stock and handling cash transactions with care.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service and Sales
- Provide a premium shopping experience by sharing expert product knowledge.
- Build strong relationships with customers through personalized service.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
Stock Management
- Assist with daily stock procedures to keep the store organized.
- Perform weekly stock counts and maintain an orderly storeroom.
- Handle customer orders and ensure they are fulfilled on time.
- Perform “shoe pairing” exercises to ensure stock integrity.
Cash Handling
- Manage cash desk duties accurately and efficiently.
- Follow daily banking and cash control processes.
- Process manual transactions correctly when necessary.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of retail experience (fashion or luxury retail experience is a plus).
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and peak trading hours.
- Passion: A genuine interest in high-end fashion and footwear.
Skills and Attributes
- Good numerical skills and accuracy when handling money.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- A team player who works well with others.
- Friendly and confident in engaging with customers.
