Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled HVAC Artisan to join our team. Your primary role will be to perform planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance on air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and water systems. You will ensure all units operate efficiently and meet our safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain equipment according to company and client specifications.
- Install and set up new air-conditioning and water systems.
- Perform regular inspections to identify and report potential risks or faults.
- Carry out emergency repairs quickly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation (OHS Act) and service level agreements.
- Provide clear and regular progress updates to supervisors and clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Matric (Senior Certificate).
- N3 to N6 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Recognized Trade Test in HVAC (Air-conditioning and Refrigeration).
- Valid South African Driver’s License.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an artisan in the HVAC and refrigeration field.
- Experience with digital control systems and water reticulation maintenance.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong knowledge of the OHS Act.
