Job Opportunity: Part-Time Sales Assistant at Poetry (Nicolway)
Cape Union Mart International has been a trusted name in South Africa since 1933. We are currently looking for a motivated and professional Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our Poetry store located in Nicolway, Gauteng. This is a permanent part-time position perfect for someone who loves retail and customer service.
Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, your main goal is to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while maintaining the high standards of the Poetry brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and use professional selling techniques to meet customer needs.
- Help the team reach daily and monthly sales targets.
- Assist with stock control and follow security procedures to prevent stock loss.
- Maintain the store’s appearance, including cleaning and organizing displays (visual merchandising).
- Ensure the shopping environment remains inspiring and welcoming for all visitors.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Education: A Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Skills: Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and strong communication abilities.
- Knowledge: A good understanding of current clothing trends and lifestyle fashion.
- Background: A clear criminal record is essential.
