Senior Superintendent Electrical – Caledon

Job Overview

Key Performance Areas

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling specialized activities related to electrical infrastructure. Key duties include:

  • Overseeing medium and low voltage (MV/LV) electrical installations.
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance for electrical equipment.
  • Preparing quotations for new electrical connections.
  • Reviewing and amending policies, by-laws, and procedures.
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual operating and capital budget estimates.
  • Implementing and monitoring the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP).
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and grant conditions.
  • Managing safety standards, including issuing work permits for high voltage (HV) networks.
  • Performing high voltage switching, phasing, and fault finding.
