Professional Officer: Routine Road Maintenance

The Overberg District Municipality is seeking a qualified Professional Officer to join our team in Bredasdorp. We serve the Overberg region of the Western Cape, including the towns of Grabouw, Caledon, Hermanus, Bredasdorp, and Swellendam.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• A B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technologist.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in road construction and routine road maintenance (post-qualification).
• A valid Code B driver’s license.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
