Assistant Manager – Cashbuild (Limpopo)

We are looking for a professional and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team in Limpopo. This role is open to external applicants who are ready to help lead our store to success.

Role Overview

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Qualification: Matric (Grade 12)
  • Experience: 2 years in retail management
  • Location: Limpopo

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Store Manager in daily operations and long-term growth. Your duties will include:

  • Strategic Growth: Helping to develop and implement store business plans to increase market share and meet sales targets.
  • Customer Excellence: Ensuring high levels of customer service, managing loyalty programs, and overseeing reliable delivery services.
  • Asset & Stock Control: Managing stock movement to prevent shrinkage, overseeing daily banking, and ensuring all store equipment is well-maintained.
  • Team Leadership: Assisting with recruitment, staff training, and maintaining a positive work environment through clear communication.
  • Safety & Standards: Maintaining a clean, organized store and ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety (OHSA) regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate with at least 2 years of experience in retail management.
  • A valid driver’s license, a personal cell phone, and reliable transport.
  • Strong leadership, administrative, and accounting skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of Human Resources and local Health and Safety legislation.
  • A valid ID or a valid local work permit.
