Retail Shop Assistant – Tools and Machinery
Adendorff Machinery Mart is a leading supplier of tools and equipment sourced from around the world. We are currently looking for a motivated, energetic individual to join our Klerksdorp Branch.
The Role
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about sales and customer service. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn about tools and machinery while growing their career in a retail environment. The successful candidate will be a reliable team player with a professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers and providing excellent service.
- Processing sales and reaching branch targets.
- Merchandising products and ensuring the shop floor looks professional.
- Managing stock, including stock taking and stock control.
- Following general retail and branch procedures.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) Senior Certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or stock control is preferred.
- Knowledge: Technical knowledge of DIY tools or hardware is a significant advantage.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, honesty, and the ability to work well in a team.
Job Details
- Location: Klerksdorp, North West
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:00 – 17:00) and Saturdays (08:00 – 13:00).
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience, with benefits included.
