Role Overview
The Department is looking for a professional Assistant Director to manage Labour Relations. The successful candidate will ensure that the department follows all legal frameworks and maintains healthy workplace relations.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (NQF level 6) in Labour Relations or Labour Law.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Labour Relations Officer or Practitioner.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary.
Required Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the Labour Relations Act (Act 66 of 1995).
- Familiarity with the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and DPSA guidelines.
- Knowledge of Collective Agreements and Human Resources regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of Departmental legislation and specific legal requirements.

Main Responsibilities
