2026 SABS Youth Development Programme: Supply Chain Management
The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) is looking for talented, unemployed graduates to join our 2026 Youth Development Programme. This 12-month internship is based in Pretoria and is scheduled to begin in April 2026.
This programme is designed to provide young professionals with practical workplace experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to build a career in Supply Chain Management.
Programme Details
- Job Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
- Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
- Monthly Stipend: R8,000.00
- Closing Date: 6 March 2026
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Must hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Must have achieved a minimum academic average of 80% for your completed qualification.
- Must be currently unemployed and have no previous formal work experience in your field of study.
Key Responsibilities
During the internship, successful candidates will:
- Participate in structured training and development activities.
- Gain hands-on experience through rotational assignments within the Supply Chain department.
- Assist with departmental projects, research tasks, and general administration.
- Apply academic knowledge to solve real-world business challenges.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet organizational goals.
- Provide regular progress reports and complete required assessments.
