2026 SABS Youth Development Programme: Project Management Office
The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) is looking for talented, unemployed graduates to join our one-year Youth Development Programme. Starting in April 2026, this internship offers practical work experience, professional mentoring, and learning opportunities designed to help you build a successful career.
Programme Overview
- Duration: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
- Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
- Stipend: R8,000.00 per month
- Field: Project Management Office (PMO)
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Have completed a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Have maintained a minimum academic average of 80% for your qualification.
- Have no previous formal work experience related to your field of study.
- Be currently unemployed.
What You Will Do
As an intern in the Project Management Office, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking part in structured training and professional development sessions.
- Gaining hands-on experience through various departmental assignments.
- Assisting the team with project tasks, research, and administrative duties.
- Applying the knowledge from your studies to real-world business challenges.
- Collaborating with supervisors and team members to reach project goals.
- Providing regular progress reports and completing required assessments.
- Following all company policies and professional standards.
