We are looking for a qualified professional to join our team as the Deputy Director for Admin Support and Coordination. This role focuses on managing administrative functions and coordinating activities within the Executive Authority’s portfolio.
Requirements
- A National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- A National Diploma in Public Management or Public Administration (NQF level 6).
- At least 3 years of experience at an Assistant Director level.
- Practical experience or working knowledge of Ministry operations.
- A valid driver’s license.
Key Knowledge and Skills
The successful candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of public sector operations, including:
- Government Operations: Knowledge of political and parliamentary processes, government planning systems, and the Department’s service delivery goals.
- Governance: Understanding of public sector policies, regulations, and administrative procedures.
- Planning and Strategy: Experience in strategic planning, operational management, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Professional Skills: Strong abilities in report writing, research, negotiation, and conflict management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: High level of computer literacy and data management skills.
