Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng or B.Sc. Eng) in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Registration: You must be registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
- Experience: At least three years of post-qualification experience specifically in Water Engineering.
- Driver’s License: A valid, unexpired driver’s license is mandatory, as this position requires travel and site visits.
Key Skills and Competencies
We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background and the following skills:
- Proven experience in implementing civil engineering projects.
- Expertise in designing hydraulic structures and water conveyance systems.
- Proficiency in engineering design and analysis, including the use of computer-aided engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of legal compliance and project management.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and financial management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
