Role Purpose
The Senior Artisan Auto Electrician is responsible for operating and maintaining auto-electrical equipment and machinery. You will perform routine tasks following detailed instructions to ensure performance targets are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair auto-electrical systems and equipment in the plant or mine.
- Use maintenance documentation and planning systems effectively.
- Follow all safety management systems and emergency procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards before starting work.
- Participate in daily morning meetings to discuss assignments and progress.
- Provide regular feedback to supervisors on work status and challenges.
- Assist with root cause analysis (RCA) to solve technical problems.
- Mentor and share knowledge with junior artisans.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace (good housekeeping).
- Help develop work instructions to improve team competency.
- Identify personal training needs to support professional development.
Requirements
- Education: National Senior Certificate (Matric) or N3 Certificate with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English.
- Trade Qualification: Valid Occupational Auto Electrician Trade Certificate.
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
- License: A valid driver’s license is required.
