Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a professional Legal Advisor to provide expert legal guidance on listed transactions and commercial law. In this role, you will support the PIC’s investment legal advisory services and ensure all transactions meet legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and provide expert opinions on corporate and investment law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate and investment agreements.
- Manage legal requirements for listed investment transactions.
- Review complex documents related to derivative instruments, such as ISDAs and GMSLAs.
- Stay updated on new investment legislation and provide training to employees on relevant changes.
- Coordinate and manage instructions for external attorneys on the legal panel.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
- Admitted Attorney of the High Court.
- 3 to 5 years of experience post-articles.
- Proven experience in Corporate Law and Investment Law.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
- Postgraduate degree focused on investment law.
