Wellness Assistant – Clicks Sophiatown

We are currently looking for a professional and motivated Wellness Assistant to join our team at the Clicks Sophiatown branch in Johannesburg.

The primary goal of this position is to provide exceptional service to our customers. You will offer knowledgeable advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements to help customers make informed choices, drive sales, and build long-term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive and friendly customer service by identifying and meeting customer needs.
- Consult with customers to offer expert advice on healthcare and nutritional supplement products.
- Drive sales and profitability by promoting a wide range of brands through cross-selling and upselling.
- Manage stock availability in the healthcare aisles by following company management principles.
- Maintain high standards of store hygiene and cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Implement product merchandising according to company guidelines.
- Ensure stock rotation to prevent wastage and follow risk management policies to prevent stock loss.
- Focus on personal development and stay updated on product knowledge to maintain high service levels.
Requirements
Education:
- Matric certificate (Essential).
- Required grades: 50% in English, 50% in Mathematics (or 60% in Maths Literacy), and a pass in Physical Science or Life Science.
- A qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition is highly desirable.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of related retail or sales experience.
- Proven experience in selling and customer service.
- Experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin products is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of retail operations (stock management and merchandising).
- Knowledge of health, fitness, and supplement products.
- Basic computer literacy.
