About the Position
The Limpopo Department of Education is seeking three dedicated Assistant Directors to join our Financial Management and Accounting team. Our mission is to provide quality, innovative education across all grades, and we are looking for professionals who can help us maintain excellence in our financial operations.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial management and accounting services. You will lead teams, manage budgets, and ensure that all financial activities comply with public service regulations and policies.
Minimum Requirements
- A recognized NQF Level 6 qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Financial Management, Accounting, Commerce, or Auditing.
- At least five (5) years of experience in a related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience at a supervisory or lower management level.
- A valid driver’s license (this requirement may be waived for individuals with disabilities).

- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Public Service laws, policies, and financial frameworks.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

- Technical Proficiency: High level of computer literacy and attention to detail.
- Management: Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines.
