About the Role
The Limpopo Department of Education is seeking dedicated professionals for the role of Assistant Director for Learning & Teaching Support Material (LTSM) and Library Services. Our mission is to provide innovative, high-quality education programs for learners across all grades.
Requirements
- A recognized NQF Level 6 qualification (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience, including three (3) years at a supervisory or junior management level (Level 7/8).
- A valid driver’s license (this requirement may be waived for individuals with disabilities).
Key Knowledge and Skills
- A strong understanding of Public Service laws, policies, and financial regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Functional computer literacy.
- Problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and lead teams effectively within the LTSM and Library Services division.
- Collaborate across different departments to ensure educational goals are met.
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring all administrative and legislative frameworks are followed.
- Manage human and financial resources within the department.
