Job Title: Senior Artisan Instrumentation

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Artisan Instrumentation to join our team in Secunda. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of vital instrumentation systems. You will ensure that all operations meet safety standards and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Planning: Implement the unit’s operational plans and monitor daily performance against targets.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Identify faults and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Installation: Oversee the installation and calibration of instrumentation equipment based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Testing & Investigation: Perform technical inspections, conduct scheduled testing, and evaluate results to solve root-cause issues.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain high Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards and ensure all work follows legal and company protocols.
- Budgeting: Help manage unit expenses and monitor spending to stay within budget.
- Reporting: Track progress and submit regular performance reports to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with team members and external partners.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification.
- Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate.
- BTech in Instrumentation or a similar technical field.
- A valid driver’s license.
