Job Summary
We are seeking qualified individuals for the position of Assistant Director: Salaries & Wages. This role is essential for managing financial records and ensuring the accurate administration of payroll and benefits within the department.
Requirements
- Education: A recognized NQF level 6 qualification (Bachelor’s Degree). Qualifications in Cost & Management Accounting or Financial Accounting are highly preferred.
- Experience: At least five (5) years of total experience, with a minimum of three (3) years at a supervisory or lower management level (Level 7/8) within a related field.
- License: A valid vehicle driver’s license is required (except for applicants with disabilities).
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of Public Service legislation, policies, and financial frameworks.
- Proficiency in human resource and financial management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Full computer literacy and the ability to lead teams effectively.
