Key Responsibilities
As a Bakers Assistant, your daily tasks will include:
- Customer Service: Providing undivided attention to customers and answering their questions accurately.
- Sales Support: Helping the department reach its sales targets by promoting fresh products.
- Hygiene and Housekeeping: Following “clean-as-you-go” procedures to maintain food safety and preventing pests through deep cleaning.
- Equipment Care: Using bakery machinery safely, keeping it clean, and reporting any faults to management immediately.
- Safety: Adhering to all safety protocols to ensure a risk-free working environment.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a bakery environment is an advantage but not always required.
