Role Summary
Alert Engine Parts is looking for a professional Driver to join our team in the East Rand (Boksburg). The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while following all company procedures and safety standards.

Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- At least 3 years of professional delivery experience.
- A valid driver’s license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Honesty, integrity, and sober habits.
- A clear criminal record.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections before departure and upon return each day.
- Submit vehicle inspection lists to the Dispatch Supervisor every Monday.
- Report any vehicle faults or mechanical issues immediately.
- Double-check all parcels with the supervisor before loading the vehicle.
- Deliver goods to customers following designated routes and schedules.
- Ensure all Proof of Delivery (POD) documents are correctly signed by customers.
- Manage delivery documents and collection slips accurately.
- Complete and return all trip sheets to the POD clerk daily.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensure it is well cared for.
- Communicate any delivery delays or issues to the Dispatch Supervisor promptly.
