Role Purpose
The Relocation Assistant provides essential support in moving fountain and hot beverage equipment to internal customers and various sales outlets. This role is responsible for the safe loading, securing, and delivery of equipment to ensure all business and customer needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations:
- Physically load, place, and remove beverage equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is properly strapped and secured during transport.
- Off-load fountain and coffee machines at delivery sites.
- Complete all tasks according to company quality standards and safety regulations (including HACCP and ISO14000).
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in work areas.
- Assist with the relocation and repositioning of equipment as required.
Administration:
- Assist with the completion of equipment check-in procedures and related paperwork.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a Matric certificate.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in deliveries or handling equipment.
- Certifications: A valid medical certificate is required.
- Driver’s License: A Code 10 or 14 driver’s license is a significant advantage.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically flexible and prepared to work overtime or variable shifts.
- Background: Must be able to pass criminal and credit checks.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of fountain and hot beverage equipment models and installation requirements.
