The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Metallurgy Engineering Technician to join our team in Mpumalanga. In this role, you will provide essential technical services and professional designs to ensure the integrity and reliability of our power generation assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical services and professional engineering designs.
- Maintain the integrity of the company’s asset base.
- Ensure all work outputs meet standardized quality and safety requirements.
- Act as a consultant on discipline-specific technical issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: National Diploma or National N Diploma in Engineering (NQF Level 6 with 240 credits).
- Experience: Completion of P1 and P2 practical training.
- Professional Registration: Not required for this specific role.
Skills and Knowledge
Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of power plant systems and technology.
- Familiarity with engineering design codes and standards.
- Strong grasp of engineering theory and relevant legislation.
