Job Opportunity: Mechanic Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Mechanic Assistant to join our team at the Parow Branch in Cape Town.

Role Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to assist our mechanics with the maintenance and repair of company vehicles to ensure our fleet remains operational and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing of vehicles.
• Conduct day-to-day vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with general workshop duties.
• Handle standby duties when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Matric certificate.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical work.
• Technical Knowledge: Experience with Hino 300, Hilux D4D, Chevrolet, and MP200 vehicles is highly preferred.
• License: Valid Driver’s License (Code 10 is an advantage).
• Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal record.
• Availability: Must be willing to work shifts, overtime, and irregular hours.
• Transport: Having your own reliable transport is an advantage.
