Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Artisan to join our team in Gauteng. In this role, you will ensure that our production machinery remains in top condition and lead technical tasks to keep our assembly lines running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in meeting all quality and production goals.
- Maintain and repair all electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production delays.
- Diagnose and solve problems within integrated IT, Network, and PLC control systems.
- Perform proactive maintenance to prevent future equipment failures.
- Oversee the work of other artisans to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standards.
- Act as a substitute leader when the Process Leader is unavailable.
What You Should Bring
- An N6 qualification in either the Electrical or Mechanical field.
- A successfully completed trade test as a Millwright, Mechatronics Technician, or Electrician.
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance within an automated production environment.
