About the QCTO
The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) was established in 2010 to oversee the development, assessment, and certification of occupational qualifications and trades in South Africa. We ensure that skills development meets the needs of the labor market.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a creative intern to support our Marketing and Communications team. In this role, you will help create visual and multimedia content for our digital platforms, print materials, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design marketing materials such as posters, flyers, banners, and infographics.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ensure all designs follow the organization’s brand guidelines.
- Assist in filming and editing short videos, animations, and motion graphics.
- Provide photography and videography support for events and campaigns.
- Help manage and organize our digital asset library.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new creative concepts and campaigns.
- Provide general administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team.
Requirements
- Education: A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or Digital Media.
- Citizenship: Must be an unemployed South African citizen between 18 and 35 years old.
- Experience: No previous work experience is required.
- Eligibility: You must not have participated in any previous internship program.
- Location: Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Gauteng Province.
