Role Overview
We are seeking professional and organized individuals to join our team as Administrative Officers. The successful candidates will provide essential clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our educational circuits.
Requirements
- A recognized 2-year post-matric qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant clerical or administrative experience.
- Strong ability to work independently and use discretion when necessary.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and a high level of accountability.
Knowledge and Skills
Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with provincial and national education strategies.
- Proficiency in standard office software and computer programs.
- Understanding of relevant government legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of financial administration.
Professional Skills:
- Documentation: Ability to draft professional letters, submissions, and reports.
- Organization: Strong planning skills for managing workshops, events, and travel itineraries.
- Office Management: Experience in diary management, minute-taking, and maintaining organized record systems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Procurement: Ability to assist in the process of purchasing goods and services.
