Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
• Current professional registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Proof of payment for your SACSSP registration for the 2025-2026 period.

Experience Levels

This position is categorized into four grades based on your years of experience after registering as a Social Worker:

• Grade 1: No experience required.
• Grade 2: At least 10 years of appropriate experience.
• Grade 3: At least 20 years of appropriate experience.
• Grade 4: At least 30 years of appropriate experience.

Preferred Skills

The following are highly recommended for this position:

• A valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience working in the field of child and youth care.
